Who is STUPID?

To get stupid, you must know STUPID. STUPID is an acronym for the Super Tough Ultra Powerfully Insane Dans because it was formed by myself and my father, both named Dan. Now the team!
Name Picture Who is this!? Famous Phrase
Dan Wiseman, the shorter one I am a high school student at Archbishop Mitty in San Jose, California. I have a 3.5+ grade point average and have always enjoyed math and science. I got into this whole business back in 1994 when I saw a clip for Robot Wars on the Discovery Channel. When Battlebots came on TV I decided that we could build a robot and darn it we could make it win! Blargh!
Dan Wiseman, the taller one World renowned car builder with the '40 ford woodie, winner of countless awards. Collector of Lionel trains. Thought since he could build a car that can win he can build a bot that can do the same. Really digs destruction. "Did you see that?!" "I can flat make S**t happen"
"Action" Jack Mayberry What can one say about Jackson...well, he's been an enormous help with the robot, giving us great ideas and putting his skills as a former machinist to work. Jack has been like an uncle to myself and my brother, always willing to lend support and share in the fun of all kinds of stuff. He is a great asset to the team.

GO JACK!

Dan, I need your eyes over here.
Bill Philip An ex-welder now working in law. Currently handles the vast majority of the welding on our robots as well as being a great resource for ideas. "Yeah, that'll work too."
Chris Taylor A great machinist who is locally employed at a machine shop. He helps us with all of our custom parts. One heck of a great guy! (more of the quiet type)
Frank Vanderpool Pic to come Employee of SMC Corporation of America. He heads team STUPID's sponsorship for pneumatic components, plus he also did our safety inspection during season 4. "Gimme a call"
Now a few special thanks: to Gary for putting up with our perfectionist attitudes for cutting the armor, to John Reid for his Pneumatic tutorial, to Christian Carlberg for his battlebot quickstart guide, to Greg Munson and Trey Roski for developing battlebots, to dan at Cruelrobots.com for all his great robot parts, to all the fine folks working at Forcefield, and to all the other people I have left out that have made this and future robots possible, thank you
