Back in the days before Television, DVDs, VCRs, Nintendo®, Computers and the Internet, people had to use their imaginations to be entertained. This included adults and kids! A strange phenomenon called "books" was really good for this...but if some scientific mystery was puzzling, the best way to figure it out was to experiment...whether it involved fire, airplanes, rockets, high voltage, weather, chemistry, magnets, explosives, large insects, matches, jet propulsion, snakes, electronics, crystal radios...
